Hey folks, this is probably the second time I ever make a comment under a UA-cam video, but as this task is quite insane, it’s time for me to give back to the community. I agree with the sturdy cutter/knife, but instead of losing your mental health trying cutting all the lines as shown in the video, put a screwdriver into the first space you are able to create and use leverage. As you use leverage (a strong one) you’ll see that all the other points will pop, and you’ll be able to complete this mad task (and avoid a mental breakdown)…

The manual for the "laces (and wrench) only" version of the kit does not include the table for the length. It just says that the new wire should match the old one (without telling you how much extra there is needed for the knot). Overall, this video is way more comprehensive and helpful than the manual. The video should be linked (e.g. QR Code) in the manual.

The biggest crap I've encountered in boa shoes - fiber laces instead of plastic rope. A year of using such shoes and already two laces broke from abrasion.

Absolutely ludicrous set up. Having to cut into €200 shoes. Almost impossible to do on the new Revolution 3 as the tongue cant open enough because one of the Boa laces goes through it. Sorry I ever went for Northwave now. Will be sticking with Lake.

this is insane. I just bought these shoes. What a con. And the plate adapter is like £5 - why not just encourage me to buy it with the shoes? I don't mind buying a random plate but resent my time being wasted in this way

Pathetic instructions. LW2 is used in other models too. The most difficult parts are how to thread and unthread the cable, which is not even addressed either here or in the printed instructions! It took me two hours overall. 🤬

I switched from 3 holes to Speedplay on my NW Mistral Plus. Very easy in 30 minutes with the Speedplay kit. Full recommendation!

I broke both laces less than a year they just wear out was debating on replacing them or buying a different brand of shoe does anybody know how much this lace cyst cost or where you can actually get it without jumping through two many hoops!!!

Not gonna lie the shoes have been pretty much garbage broke both laces no way to repair broken or just fell apart in the first few months and the souls practically fell off I bought these based on a good review wow was I mistaken there’s anybody know how to get laces???

Shoe covers are a pain in the arse to fit but very nice to have on cold and wet days. No pain, no gain.

I have a question. I dont seem to find the original adaptor that came with theshoe sold online. I had speedplay so I changed the adaptor but now that I bought the Favero Assioma pedals which need Keo cleats I have to switch back and I dont have the original three hole adaptor. Please help!
